PLEASE NOTE – there are several road closures and diversions in place this Summer and you are advised to plan your route to the rally and allow additional time for the journey.

Two major closures are detailed below, but there may well be others.  To help with your planning we can confirm that there will be a FREE bus shuttle from Silk Mills Park and Ride to the Rally site and also a FREE Train shuttle from Bishops Lydeard Station.

PLEASE NOTE –    There are directional closures on Silk Mills Road with a road closure on the junction of Mountway Road (between A38 and P&R) from July 28 to August 17.

A spokesperson from the Somerset Council said, “During these works, vehicles can freely use the A38 corridor into and out of Taunton and still head north along the A3065 Silk Mills from the A38 Wellington New Road roundabout.

There will be no traffic travelling south along the A3065 to join the A38 Wellington New Road roundabout, this will indirectly aid traffic flows over the A38 roundabout.

PLEASE NOTE – All sliproads at M5 Junction 26, the roundabout and the A38 link road from the motorway to the Chelston roundabout will be closed from Sunday night, 15 June, until late September to enable the works to happen safely.  For more information visit THIS LINK
